How to Use Traffic Exchanges Effectively to Make Money

Traffic Exchanges are an often misunderstood free to low cost advertising resource that can deliver good results to advertisers when they apply a sound marketing program.

Take your time to understand the Traffic Exchange Market and structure a campaign accordingly. Spend some time acquainting yourself with the various advertising mediums available such as full page views, banner and text ad displays and various other alternatives offered by a variety of Traffic Exchanges.

Choose between five and ten highly ranked and used Traffic Exchanges and begin to build up advertising credits within these exchanges in preparation to launch your campaign. Try and allocate a set period of at least thirty minutes per day to this task.

Begin designing and structuring your campaign which should include a splash page ( a fast loading page with a simple message prompting the surfer to open your site in a new window), a squeeze or lead capture page ( a page designed with the sole purpose of getting the viewer to request more information from you via email) and a well written email follow up campaign that stays on message while offering the reader genuine help and assistance. Several squeeze and splash pages should be designed so that you can track effectiveness and constantly be able to adjust your pages for better results.

How to Make Money Blogging

You must know the key for your online success. Internet is a 24/7 marketing medium. It is a global medium where people look for information to solve their problems. If you use this medium to market them the crucial information or online product and solve their problems, in return they pay you for the solutions.

One of the truly great things about blogs is that they are a means of self-expression. In a world where it can be difficult to be heard, they provide a convenient way of airing your opinions and broadcasting your ideas. There is nothing more rewarding than blogging about your passions and interests. It is also a brilliant way to enter the world of writing.

Blogs are very cheap to set up and maintain. Another great benefit from blogging is that they are very cheap to run. There are only two components to a blog that cost you: your domain name and web hosting fees. For as little as EUR10 a month you can have your blog up and running. There are even websites that provide free hosting and domain names, thereby, costing you nothing. Although I would recommend that you pay for both hosting and having your own domain name, as in the long run it is much more beneficial.

Blogging software is very easy to use and there is lots of support from dedicated websites such as WordPress. Plus there are also many forums and guides available to giving the novice a helping hand. WordPress offers many plug-in features which can maximise your blog's potential.

A blog is a very easy way to generate income. There are many ways to earn money from advertising, sponsorship, affiliate programmes, to selling your own products. Many people successfully earn healthy incomes from blogging.

Blogs can be used to target niche markets. You can target a certain niche that is generating a lot of interest and write product reviews on your blog. You can then earn money through affiliate marketing by sending interested readers to product vendors.

You can also generate a lot of traffic through your blog with relatively little effort thanks to great support structures in place for blog users. The above are just some of many reasons why you should have your own blog up and running.

Having a blog can really add to your credibility in the marketplace. It allows your readers to get a sense of who you are as a person. This is very important in building rapport for future business relationships. A blog is also a great way of giving you a platform so that you will be heard above the masses.

The better your blog's content the better your results will be. So make it interesting and you will surprise yourself with the results

PayPerPost.com will give you a fee for posting a product review on your blog. Keep in mind, however, a lot of bloggers consider undisclosed advertisements very unethical. So only post reviews where you are allowed to disclose that it's a paid product review. Most people don't realize that a lot of so-called television news stories are really sponsored paid slots. That's why there are so many stories about the next health food, next health study, next financial product. Bloggers don't like this.

How to Create Income With Your Web Site

If you have a website or weblog with quality content, you may be able to make money from it. It takes time and dedication, but the extra cash flow could make it all worthwhile.

Sell advertising space on your web site. You could sell banner ads, classified ads or sponsor ads.

If you have enough web space, you could rent out subdomains and host other people's domains. Give hosting away for free (or sell it for cheap) and make money by including your banner ad on the web pages.

Generate "Quality Content". By quality content, I mean find an area that you are an expert in (or you feel passionate about). Then start writing about it and generate content. Believe me, when you find such a niche, your content will be unique. People will get attracted to your website and crawlers will like it.

If your content (e.g., e-books, software, reports) is really worth it, you could also start charging people to access a certain part of your website. Consider the pros/cons among one-time fees, monthly/weekly plans, and pay-per-use options.

Sell your own products or services to your target audience. E-books are one of the many ways to create your own product.

Sell other people's products and services through affiliate programs. They'll give you a link to track all your sales. You could be paid per sale, click or sign-up.

Publish an e-zine from your web site. Have them subscribe to the e-zine right from your web site. There are quite a few free e-zine article directories that allow you to post for free.

Start advertising and promote your website. There are many tools that help you with that. Facebook can be a great way to generate traffic for your website. Create a business page and review some of the advertising options you might be interested in. Also, Google is by far one of the most popular search engines, so do everything you can to be one of the top links, when users search for your niche or web address.

Sign up with affiliate programs. Once you have built a website with high-quality content, advertises will compete for your business.

How to Make Money Online Without a Website

You don't need to have a website to make money on the Internet. Here is a proven strategy to make money online without a website.

Find Affiliate Product

Find a product to promote where you make good commission on each sale. Generally, you will get the biggest commissions on digital products. Digital products are defined as something that is downloaded directly to a customer's computer after purchasing, like electronic books or software. Since there is no extra cost per unit, no inventory and no shipping, the commissions are much greater than on regular "physical" goods. The most common commission on digital products is 50%.

Sign up for an affiliate membership site. This will allow you to build a residual income and the retention rate is much higher than just selling a product once and getting paid.

Sign up as a reseller (also called affiliate) for a product that looks the most appealing to you. After you sign up, you will get a unique affiliate link where you need to send people to purchase the product. Your affiliate link will have a special code that will tell the product owner that it's you who referred the customer. The affiliate link code will allow your commissions to be tracked correctly and assigned to you.

Get Domain Name

Get a domain name to redirect to your affiliate link. A domain name is a .COM. You can get it for under $9 at GoDaddy.com. GoDaddy.com will allow you to redirect your domain name to your affiliate link at no extra cost. It's important to note that unlike having your own website you don't have to pay for hosting which is usually more expensive than buying and registering a domain name. Domain forwarding allows you to have a legitimate presence in the world of online affiliate marketing for only a few dollars! Some affiliates offer mentoring and training to assist you in your pursuit of making money online.

So when someone types in your .COM domain in their browser, it will go to your affiliate link. The visitor will see the website with the product you promote, and the commissions will be tracked correctly.

The reason why you need a domain name is that it's memorable and it makes you look more trustworthy. Affiliate links tend to be too long and arouse suspicion. For example, most people would rather click on the link bestwidgets.com as opposed to abcwidgets.com?reseller=john

A domain name will make your affiliate link look like it's your own website. So basically, you will have a product to promote and a website to send people to and get commissions – without really having your own website.

Get Traffic

In order to make sales, you need to get visitors to your domain name (which will forward them to the website of the product that you resell). You can pay for advertising and hope that your profit will be greater than advertising cost, or you can use free ways to generate traffic.

The most effective way to get free targeted visitors to your domain name is by writing and submitting articles. You can write short articles on the topic related to the product that you promote. At the end of the article, you include your author bio and your domain name link.

You will then submit your articles to various websites, and allow them to publish your articles as long as your link is included. Your articles will get published in many places on the Internet, and will be advertising your affiliate link at no cost to you whatsoever. People will read your articles, like what you have to say and click on your domain name link ready to buy.

Once you start getting regular sales from your articles, you can go back to step 1 and find another product to promote using this strategy. After a while, you will build up a nice source of Internet income – without even having a website.

How to Make Money Selling Your Own eBook

Many marketeers just give away ebooks willy-nilly from their sites. By adding a bit of scientific thought, and a more targeted approach, these instructions can dramatically improve your cash flow.

Allow other e-zine publishers or web site owners to republish small nuggets or excerpts of information from your ebook with your byline or ad included.

Make extra profits from selling monthly updates of your ebook. You could also back-end sell the extra, never released chapters of your e-book.

Give away a free ebook and then give people an option of buying the paid version of the ebook. Also, let others give away the free version of your ebook.

Divide your ebook content into reports, then give people the option of just purchasing the info they want.

Purchase reprint rights to other people's ebooks and combine them with yours in a large package deal or private ebook library web site.

Change the benefits on your ebook ad copy into links. When people click on it, take them right to the order page. It'll give them the urge to buy your ebook.

Charge people a cheap price to read half of your ebook. If they like it, they can pay full price to read the other half.

Offer freebies that are related to the ebook you're selling. It could be free monthly ebook updates, free e-zine, free consulting, etc.

Show your prospects a sample page out of your ebook. Just black out some of the important info. This will make your prospects curious to buy.

Provide a low and high priced version of your ebook. Show benefits of each version side by side. People usually spend a little more for extra info.

Offer the reprint rights to your ebook. You can sell the rights with the regular purchase price or as a separate higher price.

Make your ebook available for offline people. You could turn it into a print book, report, video, audio book, print newsletter, etc.

Redesign your ebook for specific niches. You can create multiple profits with very little work. Ex: Turn a business ebook into a craft business ebook.

Give your prospects discount coupons on other products when they purchase your ebook. It could be your products or others that you made deals with.

Divide your ebook into online newsletter issues. You could charge a recurring monthly subscription for people to view each issue.

How to Make Money on eBay Selling Consignment for Others

Although the majority of eBay sellers buy items outright for re-sale on eBay, some sellers specialize in consignment selling. Selling on consignment means selling items for other people. There are generally two approaches to selling consignment for others on eBay: either you can start your own consignment business or your can sign up to be a trading assistant through eBay. To get the most business, many sellers do both.

Start Your Own eBay Consignment Business

Decide how much you want to charge your consignors for selling their items.

Contact a few eBay trading assistants to find out how much they charge. You can get a list of trading assistants from the eBay Trading Assistant Directory. To get people to use your service, your prices must be competitive.

In general, the going rate for eBay consignment is 20 to 40 percent of the end sale price. The price you charge the consignor should be enough to cover your fees and still provide enough profit for you to be worth your time.

Draw up a contract outlining the terms of your consignment sales. Be sure to include all fees that apply to the sale, what is to be done with merchandise that does not sell, and when and how the proceeds from the sale will be given to the consignor.

Keep accurate records of your consignment sales. When selling consignment for others, the money paid to your consignors comes off of your profit the same way that you would subtract product costs if you were selling items you purchased for re-sale.

Start with friends and family members to find items to consign on eBay. It is always best if you can get experience working with people you know before growing your business.

Grow your business through word of mouth and referrals. A satisfied consignor will tell others about your service, helping your business to grow.

Place classified ads, hang fliers in local businesses and hand out business cards to help your consignment business grow quickly.

Go to a consignor's house to look at her merchandise when a call comes in requesting your services.

Search for the items on eBay to determine if there is a market if you are not sure if an item has one.

A search of eBay closed auctions provides a more accurate look at the market, because auction-style selling often brings bid activity at the end of the auction.

Taking items on consignment that do not have an eBay market is not only a waste of time, and in most cases you will be out the eBay listing fees. In most consignment situations there is no cost to the consignor if the item doesn't sell.

Take the items to your house for listing on eBay if you offer a full consignment service meaning you list the item, collect the payment and ship the merchandise.

Alternatively, some sellers offer only an eBay listing service and do not ship the merchandise to the customer. If you run your consignment business that way, leave the items with the owner.

If you are not taking the item to your house for listing, you must take pictures of the merchandise at the consignor's house. Also record all necessary information, including dimensions, weight, condition and anything else you need to know when listing an item.

List the consigned merchandise on eBay the same way that you would when listing items you own for sale.

Complete the sale and ship the merchandise to the customer.

Pay the consignor his proceeds. The amount of time you wait before paying consignors is affected by a number of variables, including the payment methods you accept and your stated return policy, among other things. Make sure the transaction is completed to the customer's satisfaction before paying the consignor.

Consider opening a storefront with a drop-off location for consigned merchandise as your business grows. This will allow you to handle more consignors without the travel time and expense of going to their homes.

Become an eBay Trading Assistant

Sign up for the eBay Trading Assistant Program at the company's website. To be eligible to be a Trading Assistant you must be an established eBay seller you must:

Have an active eBay account that remains in good standing at all times. Receiving too many violations or not paying your eBay bill will cause you to loose your assistant status.

Have had at least 10 sales on eBay in the past 3 months.

Have a minimum feedback score of 100, and at least 98 percent positive feedback.

Agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the eBay Trading Assistant Style Guide or the Registered eBay Drop off Location User Agreement, depending on whether you have a physical store front or not.

Provide eBay with your name, location, contact information and area of expertise for publication in the Trading Assistant Directory.

Respond to all communication promptly when someone contacts you from the Trading Assistant Directory. Consignors that have decided they want their merchandise sold will often contact multiple people from the directory. The first person to get back to a consignor has the best chance of getting the job.

Download the eBay Trading Assistant logo and other marketing material available through eBay. Put your logo on each of your auction listings, your eBay "About Me" page, your business card and other advertising venues.
Well-written auctions with good pictures and good end results are your best means of advertising your business.

Grow your consignment business by advertising and soliciting consignors. As a registered trading assistant some business will come to you through eBay, but like all businesses, you must find some of your own clients.
